Illamasqua Project

A brief has been set, let the creating commence!

Illamasqua are well known for their quirky and unique sense of styling, ideas and intensely beautiful products. Last month I had an Illamasqua masterclass and workshop with Spob O'Brien where we could start to broaden and challenge our creative skills by being given two random words combined with two colours. After these words has been handed out, we had half an hour to create a look which used these colours and symbolised the words.

For my new project I have been given a new set of words and colours to create two looks for a new Illamasqua campaign, portraying their 'out of the box' and indifferent approach to image, products and makeup. One of these looks has to be an intense and dramatic look which appears fanatical, one which you wouldn't necessarily wear day to day. The other is a beauty look which is a diluted version of my fantasy idea.

So here they are...

My words: DIRTY and SAINT

My colours: BRONZE, YELLOW and MIDNIGHT BLUE

Mind boggling for now but once I get my makeup mind on, I cannot wait to start!
